Data Analyst Role

M0VE is on a mission to rewire how people explore, value, and invest in UK property. While others offer vague estimates, we prioritise precision. That means better data, smarter tools, and sharper insights. To help us keep pushing boundaries, we’re looking for a data analyst with grit, clarity, and a quietly obsessive attention to detail.

This isn’t a passive reporting role. You’ll be questioning inconsistencies in Land Registry figures, tuning our valuation logic, and shaping how thousands of users understand the housing market.

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Refine and interpret raw datasets from the Land Registry and EPC databases, cleaning errors and flagging anomalies before they ever reach production.
  • Identify pricing distortions caused by mislabelled property types, outlier sales, and energy rating mismatches.
  • Contribute to M0VE’s custom adjustment logic, especially our valuation engine that accounts for square footage, EPC bands, and property subtypes.
  • Build dashboards and backend logic for features like Hot Deals and the Property Negotiator.
  • Explore unusual transaction patterns in street-level data and suggest smarter visualisations or filters.
  • Work directly with the product team to improve data coverage, speed, and accuracy across the site.

What You’ll Need

  • A sharp analytical brain and a natural instinct for spotting patterns others miss.
  • Comfortable working with large, messy datasets, and even more comfortable cleaning them.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, and either Pandas or a comparable data wrangling library.
  • Familiarity with UK property data is a bonus, but not essential if you’re a fast learner.
  • An opinionated approach to data quality, you’re not afraid to question sources or raise the alarm when numbers look off.
  • Strong written skills. If you can explain why a flat in CV4 was priced oddly, and make it engaging, you’ll fit right in.

Why Join M0VE?

  • We don’t do generic dashboards. We craft bespoke tools used by real buyers, agents, and investors every day.
  • You’ll be joining a small, focused team that genuinely values data integrity over clickbait.
  • Remote-first, with flexibility and zero tolerance for performative meetings.
  • Early-stage product. Your fingerprints will be all over what we build next.

Extras That’ll Impress Us

  • Experience building your own models to compare pricing trends or geographic shifts.
  • Interest in urban development, housing policy, or regional economic change.
  • Comfort with frontend logic (React, D3, or similar) to help visualise what you analyse.

Ready to join a platform that values clarity over chaos, logic over guesses, and accuracy over aesthetics? Send us your CV, a brief note on why this caught your eye, and a dataset you’ve tamed in the past.
